Project Description

The Meadow Brook Connector project conserved 44 acres of land including: approximately 16.9 acres of freshwater forested and emergent wetlands; approximately 3,504 feet of frontage on Meadow Brook and Sucker Brook, which are mapped as Wild Brook Trout habitat; approximately 33.1 acres of Inland Waterfowl and Wading Bird Habitat; one confirmed vernal pool; and forested upland. The site is part of a large Undeveloped Habitat Block identified by the Beginning With Habitat Program and abuts conservation land already owned by CMLT on both the east and west sides. CMLT will retain and manage the Premises for its natural resource values and low-impact recreation.
