Project Description
This project conserved approximately 70 acres of land including over 12 acres of freshwater forested and emergent wetlands, with the balance consisting of upland forested buffer. The site contains two documented vernal pools as well as ~3,200 feet of frontage on Hoopers Brook. American eel and wild brook trout have been documented in Hoopers Brook. The property is part of a large unfragmented habitat block and is located within the Mt. Agamenticus Focus Area of Statewide Ecological Significance.
